In MusicMaster, the settings made with the 'Administrator' account generally apply to all users. So if, for example, the Audio File Options field is to be the same for all users, we must set this field with the 'Administrator' user.
Steps to standardize the user settings
- Set global settings
Log in with the user 'Administrator' and set the desired global values in the user settings. These automatically apply to all users as long as they do not change their individual settings. - Log in as the affected user
Log in directly as the user whose settings you want to reset. - Delete settings
Open the user settings of the affected user and remove the individual settings that are to be overwritten. You can either delete specific values or reset all values to default. - Checking the settings
Open the settings again and check whether the global values of the “Administrator” account have been applied. If not, make sure that the individual values have been completely removed. - Repeat for all users
Carry out these steps for each user whose settings you want to reset.
Note:
The global settings of the “Administrator” account only apply if a user has not defined a different value in their own settings. As soon as the user adjusts a value individually, this overwrites the global setting.
